The pin end of the bonnet lock. The original restorer of this car (Classic Jaguar in Texas) left these off for some reason. As a result the bonnet vibrated a lot when the car was underway. Worse than that however was the paint damage that resulted. I was frankly ignorant that they were missing (though I always did wonder about the holes) and attributed the wobble and damage to "British Engineering"... Geoff Pickard of English Classic Cars corrected my ignorance last summer and put these on. I'm amazed now at how much more solid the car appears (duh!)
