SS-headers

These are my stainless steel headers. I found out this weekend they are "Dick Ames" brand. After having been submerged in floodwaters then never cleaned up afterwards, they looked awful! (despite being charged a hefty sum for "restoration"... I think my father basically bought the world's most expensive car wash job from "TeamCJ"... sigh.) When I was at Geoff's shop last week, I grabbed them with the idea of polishing them up. I had NO idea the job I was in for. It probably took me about 12 hours of work to get them clean again. Lots of wet sanding and polishing. They are far from "mirror" finish, but they actually look great as far as I'm concerned. They will match up well with the polished aluminum engine bits. Hopefully I can keep them clean.
